I never had any interest in cooking or any understanding of what eating healthy really looked like. I watched someone go from eating corn dogs and taco bell, to a fad diet, then switching back constantly. This made everything just look silly to me... Then I met Taylor. She is so kind and understanding, and she does not condemn you for your bad days or when times are harder and you're not able to afford much. She just helped me find alternatives that would still suit my budget. Working with Taylor has been by far one of the most rewarding things I've done to take care of myself and my family. We were eating out all the time, despite being low on money. I'm now cooking for 3 adults in the home and my baby is eating solids, yet I have more in the bank than I did when it was just my husband and I. I've made many things from scratch such as spaghetti sauce, basil pesto, and even a dairy free ricotta cheese recipe for a family member. I've made meals such as spaghetti squash cheesy spaghetti, beef stew without a recipe, and Taylor's sweet potato tacos have been a huge hit in our home. We're actually able to afford a small vacation this weekend now, so my brother and I will be cooking and making homemade freezer meals since we will only have a microwave available. Everything is still a work in progress, but with the confidence that I have learned from Taylor, I know we can get to our end goal for us and our daughter.”
